High Altitude Property Management was established in 2007 by Matt Gutter and a partner. In 2010, Matt Gutter became the sole owner of the business. High Altitude Property Management is a mid-sized business that is large enough to provide for our customer’s needs while small enough that Matt is involved in most interactions. In fact, Matt will often personally stop into his client’s homes and check for leaks, flushing toilets, ensure all the windows and doors are locked, check the heat, and make sure the refrigerator is working.
High Altitude Property Management can service all of your property management needs – from handling vacation rentals, long-term rentals, cleanings, snow-removal, routine maintenance, remodels, and many other services. We are fully licensed and insured.
Currently, High Altitude Property Management manages about 35 properties, 14 of which are homes, 15 which are condos, and 6 are short-term rental properties. We work with 6 different HOA’s and have a good working relationship with them. We provide high quality property management services, focusing on communication, thoroughness, and reliability as the cornerstone of our business.
About Matt Gutter, Owner
Matt Gutter has been in the Crested Butte area for over 16 years. He has been managing various homes and properties since 2003. Before pursuing a career in property management, Matt worked in the construction industry which allowed him to establish relationships with many of the subcontractors that are often vital in caring for a home.
